Shelby & Tyler

Like many modern love stories, ours began in 2018 with a Bumble match and a first date at a cozy speakeasy called Romolo15 in San Francisco. Shelby's first impression of Tyler was that he was the definition of tall, dark, and handsome but also incredibly funny and charming. Tyler says Shelby was sassy, sweet, and unforgettable (he still remembers the exact outfit she wore that night.) A week later, Tyler asked Shelby on a second date to a Childish Gambino concert at the Oracle Arena. So they met for drink in the city, grabbed roadies for the BART ride to Oakland and their shared love of music became one of the things that instantly bonded them. After casually dating for a few months, Tyler famously ghosted Shelby for a month before coming back around with an "I feel like I owe you dinner" text. Luckily for Tyler, that dinner changed the course of their relationship. What followed was what Tyler refers to as "The Summer of Love" - a few months full of a nights on the town, weekends with friends at Fort Mason, cozy nights in cooking keto dinners, concerts, late-night chats on the rooftop of Tyler's apartment and being the first two people in line on Sunday mornings for a hungover slice from Tony's Pizza. Since then, they've built a life filled with the things they love most: music, travel, ski trips, cooking, plenty of random hobbies and obsessing over their miniature dachshund, Luna. In January 2025, Tyler surprised Shelby with a proposal back in San Francisco, the city where it all began. He brought her to one of their favorite parks in North Beach with sweeping views of the city and asked her to marry him. Family and friends were waiting to celebrate, and the night was filled with dancing, lots of Italian food and all the places that shaped the early days of their relationship. Now, we can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter of lives the only way we know how: surrounded by our favorite people, great music, free-flowing cocktails and a dance floor that stays packed all night. Arriving in Palm Springs

The closest airport is Palm Springs International Airport (PSP), conveniently located just 2.5 miles (about a 7-minute Uber) from our venue. PSP offers nonstop and connecting flights through major airlines including Alaska, Allegiant, American Airlines, Delta, Frontier, Southwest, and United. While guests are welcome to rent a car, it likely won’t be necessary as all wedding activities will take place in the same general area.

Palm Springs International Airport

Another option is Ontario International Airport (ONT), located about a 1 hour and 15 minute drive from Palm Springs. ONT offers flights from major airlines including Alaska, Allegiant, American Airlines, Delta, Frontier, JetBlue, Southwest, and United. Please note that traveling from ONT to Palm Springs will require a car rental or other ground transportation.

Ontario International Airport

The largest nearby airport is Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), located about a 2.5-hour drive from Palm Springs. LAX is served by all major airlines and offers the widest range of flight options. Traveling from LAX to Palm Springs will require a car rental or ground transportation.
